I am looking for information on the parents of Erastus Printiss who died in Pittsfield Mass in Oct 1834. His wife was Elizabeth Luce Printiss and together they had 6 children: We believe that Erastus lived in LaFayette New York (below Syracuse)before he moved to Pittsfield where he raised a family. The children are: 1.- Horace b1825/m Eliza Ann Wilber Printiss(DAR)b1833 2.- Charles b1827/m Mary Curtiss b1831 3.- George E b1829/died at 8 years 4.- Henry b1832 /m Mary Lowell b1840 5.- Francis b1834/died at 14 years 6.- George b1837/died at birth It is thought that Joseph Prentice might have been Erastus's father: Joseph was born 1770/74 and died 1851. Joseph lived in Worthington, with two sons in 1790. It is considered that Erastus aged (teens)had left home and moved to LaFayette NY. Any information about this line would be greatly appreciated...

I am looking for a 'female' Prentice who married a 'male' Runyan. They lived about 1750 to 1830 in either Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois or Missouri.

I am looking to find any information on William Prentice of Glengarry Co, Ontario abt.1807(m.Sarah Ann Clute of Seymour Twp, Ontario). His death record in 1899, Simcoe Co,Ontario states he's 91 and born in Glengarry County, Ontario. He is my G-G-Grandfather. Records from St Rapheal's Catholic church in Williamstown, Ontario shows a William born to Lewis and Catherine McDonell in 1817. This date is too late when compared to his death registry. Also William was Church of England. Records of St Andrew's Presb, Williamstown, show a William born 1792, but he was the son of Daniel and Mary (Hamilton) Prentice, and was killed in the War of 1812. No records show he was married. Daniel Prentice, his father, made a land claim for his son's land entitlement. Has anyone come across another William Prentice, born abt, 1807, Glengarry, County. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

I am trying to find any information about Prentices in Ireland. My great-great-great-great grandfather James Prentice (1805-1877) was born in Fermanagh county, Ireland. He was married to Elizabeth Rutledge (1814-1902?) before 1833. I have searched for more information about this part of my family for a very long time and I would love any kind of help finding information for my search. Sometimes the smallest piece of information can start something wonderful......
