He m. Mary A. in 1865. She was b. Dec 1846, NY, with both of her parents born in Ireland. Not in 1910 and later census. Children:

He is probably the Frank Prentice from Brooklyn shown in the 1915 NY State Census in the NY Juvenile Asylem with his brother, Hiram. 1920 census in Brookly with his wife, Florence J., b. c. 1900 NY; living with them in 1920 was his brother Hiram. 1930 in Brooklyn with his wife and children. 1940 in NY, Kings Co., NY, with his wife and daughter:
    1. Elizabeth Prentice, b. c. 1922, NY. 1930 at home in Brooklyn. 1940 at home.
    2. Frank Prentice, b. c. 1924, NY. 1930 at home in Brooklyn. 1940 not home.
  2. Hiram Prentice, b. c. 1903, NY, He is probably a son of Frank and Rosina from Brooklyn shown in the 1915 NY State Census in the NY Juvenile Asylem with his brother, Frank. 1920 census in Brooklyn living with his brother, Frank. 1930 in Brooklyn with his wife, Wilhemina (Vessinmeyer?), b. c. 1907, NY, with both parents b. in NY (A Mary Vessinmeyer was living with them in 1940. She was b. c. 1874, NY, called "mother" and was widowed; no children shown. 1940 in NY, Queens Co., NY. Son:
    1. Richard Prentice, b. c. 1936, NY. 1940 at home.
  3. Arthur Prentice, b. c. 1900, NY. 1900 at home in Brooklyn. Not in 1910 and later census.

3. William Prentice, b. Jan 1881, NY. 1900 at home. in Brooklyn. 1910 in Brooklin with his wife and son, John; also with his niece, Anna, A. Lutz, b. c. 1891, NY. 1925 State Census in Brooklyn. 1930 in Queens, Queens Co., NY. He appears in the 1940 census in New York, Queens Co., NY, with his wife and family.
