1. Frederick Prentice was b. c. 1890 in England. He appears in the 1940 census in New York City, NY Co., NY with his wife. He had an 8th grade education, and was a butler, with his wife, in the home of Preston and Eugiene Davie.
He m. Ann who was b. c. 1903 in Scotland. She also had an 8th grade education. No children are shown.
It is unclear whether he is the Frederick W. Prentice who appears in the 1930 census. He was b. c. 1890 in England, as were his parents. He emigrated to America in 1930, was then single. His occupation was given as "Footman," perhaps to Abraham and Mabel W. Hatfield in whose home he appears. The form asks "attended school" and the form shows "No."
