Kyle Matthew Prentice, b.2011-02-24, Hoquiam; d.2011-11-24; Hoquiam, WA, US; Obits For Life (contributed by Scott Prentice)

Kyle Matthew Prentice infant son of Matthew and Joan (Grexa) Prentice passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 24, 2011 at home in Hoquiam. Kyle was born February 24, 2011 at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. He was 9 months old. In addition to Kyle’s parents he is survived by his twin sister Maggie Rose Prentice; grandpa and grandma, Paul and Edna Grexa, several uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandpa and grandma, Edward and Ann Prentice.

Kyle had a sparkling energy that made everyone he met smile and laugh along with him. He was curious and studied the world around him with a look that could only be captioned by, “WOW, LOOK AT THAT!” He would frequently crawl into, or over, his sister, and they would stop, look at each other, and then just burst out laughing. Sometimes he and his sister would tug of war over a toy. He would let go and just laugh. He loved to snuggle. He loved the outdoors and his dog, Coco. He had a caring and loving extended family of neighbors who cherished his time with us as if their own. We are grateful he has touched our lives. We love him and miss him.

A remembrance celebration will be held at the home of Dan and Sue Varland this Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. onward. Donations in lieu of flowers for Kyle’s memorial fund can be sent to Matthew Prentice, P.O. Box 314, Hoquiam, WA 98550. Brought to you by: Harrison Family Mortuary
