    1. Daniel Kevin Prentice, b. c. 1993, Newmarket, Canada, and d. 29 Jan 2013, Lunenburg, Canada. His obituary reads as follows:

Obituary for Daniel Prentice Prentice, Daniel Kevin - It is with profound sadness that Robert, Joan and Kelsey Prentice announce the passing of their much loved son and brother Daniel Kevin Prentice, who, after a valiant effort lost his battle with pneumonia at MacKenzie Health Centre in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 29th.

They say everyone has a special gift, and Dan had many, but one that stood out in particular was his gift for bringing out the very best in others. He did that for 19 years, bringing out the best in his parents, sister, and extended family that includes cherished care providers, teachers and friends. We are so very grateful to have had Daniel in our lives. Along with his immediate family, Daniel will be fondly remembered and missed by grandparents Bruce and Kathleen Prentice, his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and the loving individuals in his life, too numerous to mention, who formed his network of friendship and care and in essence became our extended family.

Born 1993 in Newmarket, Ontario, Daniel attended Armitage Village Public School and was a student at Dr. John M. Denison High School. Daniel will be cremated and a private family service is planned. A special thanks to everyone who helped us make sure that Daniel was always surrounded by love and joy in his short lifetime. For such a small guy, you are leaving a huge hole in many lives. Rest in peace, our beautiful boy. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial donations be made in Daniels memory to Community Living Newmarket/Aurora District at http://www.canadahelps.org/. On-line condolences may be made at www.roadhouseandrose.com.
