1. Henry Prentice may have been b. c. 1850-1860 and at Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., MA, according to an application form for his daughter, Gladys, in a census record of his daughter shown in an Almshouse and Poorhouse. In 1917 he may have been living at Saranac Lake, NY, if his daughter, Gladys, was then living at home. He occupation was that of Machinist.
He m. Cora Jane French, b. in Essex Co., NY. They were divorced by the time of the 1900 census and in 1900 Cora was then living in North Elba, Essex Co., NY. Also living with Cora in 1900 was her mother, Julia French, b. Mar 1823, NY. Henry and Cora had 1 or more children, including:
- Gladys Prentice, b. 1891 according to the A&P census record. It shows her last, 1917, residence as Saranac Lake, NY.
