He m. Nadine, b. 31 Mar 1926, and d. 15 Jul 2011, Oregon. The following obituary for Nadine appeared in The Oregonian of 29 Jul 2011:
Nadine Prentice
Prentice, Nadine, 85, March 31, 1926 July 15, 2011. Nadine passed away peacefully. She is survived by her husband, Charles; and children, Judy, Ken, Becky and Connie. She loved her family, home and garden, and her lifetime of volunteer activities. Donations to Hospice of Washington County or a charity of your choice. Published in The Oregonian on July 29, 2011.
