1. Brian Prentice was b. 20 Aug 1951, Sioux Falls, AR, and d. 19 Feb 2012, Mountainburg, AR. His obituary reads as follows:
Brian Prentice, 60, of Mountainburg died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at a local hospital. He was a retired welder for Air Systems in Fort Smith, Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and lifetime member of Clear Creek Masonic Lodge in Mountainburg, Fine Springs Masonic Lodge of Alma, Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 8855 in Mountainburg and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 42 in Alma. He was born Aug. 20, 1951, in Sioux Falls, S.D., and of the Presbyterian faith.He is survived by his wife, Brenda; a stepson, Richard Philpott of Bentonville; a stepdaughter, Lisa Jillson of Illinois; and a grandson.
Memorial graveside service with military honors will be 2 p.m. Thursday at U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Cremation was under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
