Charles Prentice, a Black, was b. c. 1868 in St. Kitts and Nevis. He appears in the 1920 census in Companys Quarter, St Croix Island, Virgin Islands, with his wife a family. The census records indicats that is able to read or write.
He is shown on the census as m. to Julia, Black, b. c. 1876, St. Kitts andNevis. Children:
- Mary Walters, Stepdaughter, b. c. 1902, St. Kitts and Nevis.
- Delvin Walters, Stepson, b. c. 1900, St. Kitts and Nevis.
- Benjamin Thompson, Stepson, b. c. 1907, St. Kitts and Nevis.
