3. Charles A. Prentice, b. 27 Oct 1927. He m. Miss Invernezzi.
4. Herbert Prentice, b. c. 1929-31 and d. c. 1954 in Korea. He was a Corporal in the U. S. Army. Cause of Death: Combat action, Korean Conflict, MIA. Herbie was a combat veteran of WW II and was at the Battle of the Bulge. After WWII he voluntered for duty in Korea and was MIA at the Christmas seige at the Chosun Resevoir. His name is noted on the MIA plaque at the National Cemetery in Honolulu, Hi. He received the Purple Heart on January 13, 1954, signed by Dwight D Eisenhower.

Prentice shown in the SSDI as b. 13 Jul 1924, who obtained his SS# in MA, and d. 27 May 1992 at his home in Clearwater, FL (per Laura Prentice, email, 22 Dec 2004).

Thelma d. in Jan 1999 and her obituary appears in the 14 Jan 1995 Patriot Ledger, Quincy, MA. Her obit reads as follows:

Thelma G. (DeMone) Prentice, 71, of Port Richie, Fla., formerly of Plymouth, a former piano player in a Florida senior citizens band -- died Thursday at home. Born in Medford, she graduated from Medford High School.

Mrs. Prentice was an office worker at Ocean Spray Cranberry for three years and was a volunteer driver during the 1950s and 1960s for Project FISH, a forerunner of the hospice program. Mrs. Prentice was also a bellringer and choir member of the Church of the Pilgrimage while she lived in Plymouth, and a member of the Abicom Club of Abington.

Ten years ago, she moved to Florida where she played piano with a seniors' band. Wife of the late William "Pinky" Prentice. A funeral service was held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home. Burial at Plymouth County Cemetery. She was survived by two sons:

• Richard Weston Prentice of Carver. He m. Ann Christine Petitpas. They had a daughter:

• Kenneth W. Prentice of Florida, b. 1948 and d. 18 Jul /2004 in New Port Richey, FL (per Laura Prentice, email, 22 Dec 2004 and obituary).
