. 1. John Prentice was b. c. 1852 in OH. He appears in the 1880 Circleville, Pickaway Co., OH census with his wife, Sallie, b. c. 1852 in OH. Not in 1920 or 1930 census. Children (per 1880 census):
- John E. Prentice, b. c. 1869, OH. . . . . . . . [2]
- Amber Prentice, b. c. 1873, OH.
- Wade Prentice, b. c. 1876, OH. Wade appears in the 1910 and 1920 Columbus, Franklin Co., OH census with his wife, Charlotte L., b. c. 1872-1875, OH. Not in 1930 census.
Also living with John's family was John's sister, Ella Prentice, b. c. 1859, OH and John's nephew, Ifrede Prentice, b. c. 1779, OH.
2. John E. Prentice, b. c. 1869, OH. He might be the John E. Prentice, b. c. 1869, OH, who appears in the 1920 census in Perry, Lake Co., OH, with his wife, Emma N., b. c. 1893, OH, and son:
- Allan H. Prentice, b. c. 1914, OH
