Who are H. C. Prentice's Parents?

For now we can only make an educated guess. We note that he married in NM and thereafter appeared to spend most of his his married live in and around Lovington and Hobbs, NM, although his wife later died in Abilene, TX, in 2005, and that he had predeceased her.

We checked the SSDI to see if any H. C. Prentice had died in Abilene before 2005.

We found that one had died in Abilene. He was Ralph B. Prentice, b. 27 Aug 1918, obtained his SS# in NM, and d. 25 Apr 2003 in Abilene, Taylor Co., TX. He would have been a good fit: he is 3 years older than his wife, obtained his SS# in NM where he also married, and d. in 2003, 2 years before Margaret Prentice d. in 2005. However his initials are not "H. C." so he must be excluded.

Further additional investigation is needed, both to identify H. C. Prentice's parents and their roots.
