Update of 9 Jun 2008: Pearl Prentice is Bearl O. Prentice and he is #2 in our Summer 2008 article about Frederick A. Prentice of OH and Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI . That article now replaces this article.
1. Pearl Prentice (Bearl?), male, was b. c. 1896 in MI. The birth places of his parents are shown in census records as "not known." He appears in the 1920 census in Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan, but not in the 1900, 1910 or 1930 census. A Pearl Prentice appears in the SSDI as b. 26 Jul 1896, obtained his SS# in CT, and d. Apr 1987 in Enfield, Hartford Co., CT, but it is unknown if this is the same person.
He m. Dorothy, b. c. 1895, MI. Children, per 1920 census:
- Edwin Prentice, b. c. 1917, MI. He does not appear in the SSDI.
- Phyllis Prentice, b. c. 1918, MI.
