1. Henry Prentice was b. c. 1854, Kenninghall, Norfolk, England. He appears in the 1901 census with his wife, Mary A., b. c. 1859. In 1918 he lived at Church Cottages, Great Barton, Bury St. Edmund's, Suffolk. In 1891 census in Old Buckenham, Norfolk. Children per 1901 census:

  1. Henry Prentice, b. c. 1883, Buckenham, Norfolk. At home in 1901.
  2. William Prentice, b. c. 1885, Buckenham, Norfolk. In 1891 census in Old Buckenham, Norfolk. At home in 1901.
  3. Charles John Prentice, b. c. 1891, Buckenham, Norfolk. . . . . . . [2]
  4. Hannah Prentice, b. c. 1893, Buckenham, Norfolk. At home in 1901.
  5. Eber(?) Prentice, son, b. c. 1895, Buckenham, Norfolk. At home in 1901.

2. Charles Prentice, b. c. 1891, Buckenham, Norfolk. He appears in WW I death records as a Private, 15th (The King's) Hussars, who d. at age 28 on 8 Aug 1918 where he is identified as the son of Henry Prentice, of Church Cottages, Great Barton, Bury St. Edmund's, Suffolk; husband of Amy Young (formerly Prentice), of 6 Chatteris Rd., New Kent Rd., London.   2. Charles Prentice, b. c. 1864, Kenninghall
  3. Hannah Prentice, b. c. 1866, Kenninghall
  4. William Prentice, b. c. 1868, Kenninghall. In 1881 Kenninghall census as a servant in the home of Samuel Hewitt.
  5. Louisa Prentice, b. c. 1869, Kenninghall

Also living with William's family in 1871 was Charles Catling, b. c. 1851, Kenninghall, and called a brother in law.
