1. Malcolm W. Prentice is a descendant of Valentine Prentice. He is #461 in our PRENTICE and was b. c. 1844,perhaps in, or near, Binghamton, Broome Co., NY. The 1850 shows him in Chenango, Broome Conty. The 1870 census shows him in Vestal, Broome Co. and the 1920 census shows him in Elmira, Chemung Co., NY.

Malcolm m. 1st Frances "Fannie" Kattell/Katell on 17 Jul 1864, in Kattelville, Broome, NY. She was b. c. 1816 and is called "of Kattelville, Broome Co., NY". Children:

  1. Thaddeus Prentice. Born, after 1865 (?)[1016].
  2. William A. Prentice.
  3. Anna Prentice. Born, circa 1869.

Malcolm m. 2nd Alpha. She was b. c. 1884, in PA. Children:

  1. Clair Prentice. Born, circa 1901, in PA. Census: 1900. Census: 1920, in Elmira, Chemung, NY.
