1. John Prentiss was b. c. 1853 in Holland. He appears in the 1910 Sacramento, Sacramento Co., CA census with his wife.
Hre m. Mary, b. c. 1865 in Germany. John appears in the 1920 Los Angeles, CA census as John Prentice and with his wife, Mary. No children are shown in either census, and their ages were such that they may not have had children.
The do not appear in the 1930 CA census and may by then be deceased.
It is unclear whether he is the John Prentiss, shown in our Spring 2004 article, entitled Hannah Prentice of Holland and Grand Rapids, MI , b. c. 1856, Holland, with both parents b. in Holland, with his wife, Mary, b. c. 1865, Germany, with both parents b. in Germany
