1. James Prentis was b. c. 1863 in AR. He appears in the 1910 census in Hughes Co., OK, with his wife and family
He m. Mollie who was b. c. 1881, OK. Children:
- Mattie Prentis, b. c. 1895, OK. At home in Hughes Co., OK, in 1910.
- Leola Prentis, b. c. 1989, OK. At home in Hughes Co., OK, in 1910.
- Ina Prentis, b. c. 1903,OK. At home in Hughes Co., OK, in 1910.
- Lillian Prentis, b. c. 1906, OK. At home in Hughes Co., OK, in 1910.
James does not appear in the 1860, 1870 or 1880 census. No other Prentis, or spelling variation, appears in the 1910 Hughes Co., OK census, nor does James appear in the 1920 OK or other state census. He does not appear in Ancestry.com Family Trees as of Feb 2009.
