1. Henry A. Prentice was b. Oct 1851, CT. He appears in the 1880 Boston, Suffolk Co., MA census with his wife, Ellen M., b. c. 1849, CT
Henry later appears in the 1900 and 1920 Boston, Suffolk Co., MA census with an apparent 2nd wife, Ada/Aida R. (Hart?), b. Jul 1866, English Canada. No children are shown in either the 1880, 1900 or 1920 census.
Also living with them in 1900 and 1920 was Sarah R. Hart, b. Feb 1844, English Canada, called Mother in Law.
In reviewing census records, we find 2 possible clues:
- Henry Prentice, b. 1850, Enfield, Hartford Co., CT.
- Henry Prentice, b. 1850, Windham, Windham Co., CT, son of Henry Prentice (b. 1826, Windham) and Eliza Whitlock. John was the son of John Prentice and Elizabeth Lord.
