Haiku

(This is a follow-up to an article in our Fall '96 Issue.)

A recent Wall Street Journal article started us thinking about using Haiku in genealogy using the 5-syllable, 7-syllable, 5-syllable format. Some samples:

Valentine Prentice
Came in 1631
He's our ancestor

Genealogy
It's the way to find your roots
Search for lineage

Your family tree
Generations long since past
Find out who you are

Procreation...yes
Makes generations galore
And Ancestor Charts

You can do Haiku
It's good mental exercise
