He m. 2nd Virginia, b. 15 Oct 1930, San Jose, CA, and d. 6 Jan 2012, North Bend, OR, age 81 years. Her obituary reads as follows:

Deceased Name: Virginia Prentice. Oct. 15, 1930 - Jan. 6, 2012.

Virginia was born Oct. 15, 1930, in San Jose, Calif. She passed away peacefully Jan. 6, 2012, in North Bend, from complications of congestive heart disease.

Virginia was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. Some of her many achievements were being president of the North Bend Chamber of Commerce in 1977 and Woman of the Year; Delta Kappa Gamma Society 1979; she served 12 years as the North Bend Merchant Association director at Pony Village Mall; J.C. Penney company sales associate, manager and advertising manager; and PTA member for the North Bend schools.

Virginia's hobbies included sewing, knitting, cooking, bead stringing, outdoor activities, road trips and just enjoying life to it's fullest. Virginia was loved by members of her family and community and she will be deeply missed.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 58 years, Irv Prentice; son, Jim Prentice and his wife, Karen; son, Don Prentice and his wife, Peggy; daughter, Jenny and her husband, Gary; sisters, Jody and Jacqueline; her beloved grandchildren; and close friend Connie.

At her request, no public services will be held for Virginia Prentice, 81, of North Bend. Private cremation rites were held at Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay. A private inurnment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Coos Bay at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Coos Bay Chapel, 541-267-3131.

3. Jenny and her husband, Gary.
