1. Lewis Prentiss was b. c. 1882 in KS. He appears in the 1910 census in Independence, Montgomery Co., KS, with his wife.
He m. Mary, b. c. 1888, KS. He does not appear in the 1900 or 1920 census. No children are shown.
The only clue as to the identity of Lewis Prentiss' parents is the 1910 census which shows that his father was born in Indiana and that he mother was born in Ohio. No Prentiss with an IN birthplace appears in the 1910 KS census.
