1. Harvey V. Prentice was b. c. 1888 in South Dakota. He does not appear in the 1900 census. In 1910 he was an unmarried Lodger in San Francisco. In 1930 we was living in Washington DC. In 1940 he was living at 218 John Marshall Place, Washington DC with his wife and family. He was then a Supt. of a Gospel Mission.

He m. Ruth C., b. c. 1898, IL. Children per Ancestry.com :

  1. James H. Prentice, b. c. 1923, DC. He might be the James Prentice shown in the SSDI as b. 1 Jan 1923 and d. Nov 1980 in Boonsboro, Washington Co., MD.
  2. Ella J. Prentice, b. c. 1925, DC
  3. John M. Prentice, b. c. 1927, DC
  4. Vern C. Prentice, b. c. 1932, DC. He might be the Vern Prentice shown in the SSDI as b. 19 Jan 1932 and d. Jul 1986.
  5. Harvey V. Prentice, b. 4 Jan 1934, DC, and d. 7 Apr 2012.
  6. Ruth S. Prentice, b. c. 1936, DC
  7. Mary B. Prentice, b. c. 1937, DC

Who are Harvey V. Prentice's Parents?

The only clue we have for now is from the 1930 census which tells us that his father was b. in Wisconsin and mother in Pennsylvania.
