The 1850 census in Windham, Windham Co., VT, shows him living with Julia M. Prentiss. Relationships were not given in the 1850 census, but one would assume she was a 1st wife. Additional information is needed for confirmation.

He m., apparently 2nd, Adeline Adelia Burnap on 27 Jan 1852 Windham, Windham Co., VT (per IGI). She was the dau. of Harvey Burnap and Mary/Polly Bliss. Children per IGI:

2. Carrie Keziah Prentice, b. 16 Jun 1861, Windham, VT, and d. in Jamaica, VT 21 Jun 1944 at the age of 83. She m. Edgar M. Butler who predeceased her. He is likely the Edgar Butler shown in the 1880 census in Jamaica, Windham Co., VT, as b. c. 1858, VT, son of Aaron Mason Butler, widower, b. 1816, VT. (Deceased wife was Emeline Muzzy.) She m. Denton James Smith on 10 Sep 1913 in Rutland Co., VT. She was then living in West Brattlebor, VT. He was b. 24 Sep 1887, Wilmington, Windham Co., VT (his marriage record says he was b. in West Brattleboro, VT), and d. 13 Mar 1977, Brattleboro, Windham Co., VT. An Ancestor Chart for him can be found at Ancestry.com . In 1914 he was the "Asst. Sup't, V. M. Co." Known children:
