Update of 14 Jun 2011: Reuben Prentice is #1ix in our Fall 2009 article entitled George Washing Prentice of Tennessee, Missouri & Arkansas . That article now replaces this article.

1. Reuben Prentice Sr.. Although not yet confirmed, he may be the Reuben Prentice shown in the 1930 census Hector, Mississippi Co.,AR as b. c. 1920 in Arkansas(?), son of Mrs. Rosa Vera Goodman, b. c. 1880, TN. Although Reuben's father does not appear in the household census record, the 1930 census record says that Reuben's father was also b. in TN. Reuben does not appear in the SSDI. Also shown in the 1930 census are Reuben's siblings:

  1. Walter Prentice, b. c. 1913, MO
  2. Mildred Prentice, b. c. 1916, AR
  3. Wilburn Prentice, b. c. 1916, AR. He may, or may not, be the Wilburn B. Prentice shown in the SSDI as b. 10 Jul 1915, who obtained his SS # in TN, and d. 16 Feb 1998 in Lynnville, Giles Co., TN.
  4. Delbert Prentice, b. c. 1918, AR. He is likely the Delbert Prentice shown in the SSDI as b. 16 Sep 1917, obtained his SS# in AR, and d. Jul 1986 in Dyess, Mississippi, Co., AR.

PRENTICE, BETTY JEAN 'JEANNIE', 59, of Horn Lake, MS, died Saturday, July 16, 2005, at her residence after a long illness. Services were held Thursday, July 21, 2005, at Brantley Funeral Home with burial in Autumn Woods Cemetery.
