Kenneth m. 2nd Patti who had 3 children by a prior marriage (Abbie Santa and Cori Murrell both of Conway, SC. and Richard Anderson, Jr. of Fort Mill, SC). Children of Kenneth and Patti per David A. Prentice obituary:

1. Corey Prentice of Winchester, VA.
2. Wendy Prentice of Inwood, WV.

2. David A. Prentice, b. 1 Nov 1958 and d. 1 May 2006. He apparently married but may have been divorced by the time of his death. He had at least 1 daughter mentioned in his obituary.

1. Alicia Prentice. In 2006 she lived in Duluth, GA.

David's obituary reads, in part, as follows:

WARREN, OH - David A. Prentice, 47 years old of Warren, died Monday, May 1, 2006 at his home. He was born November 1, 1958 in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of Kenneth E. Prentice and Ann M. Ignatz.

He has worked for the past 13 years at the Mocha House as a chef. He was a Veteran in the US Navy. Survivors include his father, Kenneth E. and Patti Prentice of Conway, SC; his mother, Ann Prentice of Warren; one daughter, Alicia Prentice of Duluth, GA; one brother, Kenneth Prentice of Saraland, AL; two sisters, Sharon Prentice of Worthington, Oh. and Maria Halavick of Vienna, OH; one half brother, Corey Prentice of Winchester, VA; one half sister, Wendy Prentice of Inwood, WV; and stepsisters, Abbie Santa and Cori Murrell both of Conway, SC. and one step brother: Richard Anderson, Jr. of Fort Mill, SC.

Funeral services will be held at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Lynn Nichols, officiating, where friends will be received 5-7 PM, Wednesday, May 3, 2006. Interment will follow in the Champion Township Cemetery, Champion, Ohio. In Lieu of flowers, Memorials should be sent to North Baptist Church at 1608 Sessions St., Conway, SC. 29526 c/o David Prentice Building Fund.

Since David was b. in Zanesville, OH in 1958, we checked to see if perhaps his father, Kenneth appeared in the 1930 census in Zanesville. No Prentice family was living in Zanesville in 1930. Neither did any Kenneth E. Prentice appear in the 1930 census, apparently indicating that he either was missed or was born after that date.
