1. Joseph Prentice was thought to have been b. sometime between 1723 and 1752, perhaps in Hinsdale, Cheshire Co., NH. The name of his wife is not given in Ancestry.com, but is given as Sarah in the IGI. Children listed:

  1. Sarah Prentice, b. 23 Aug 1766 Hinsdale Twp, Cheshire Co., NH (per IGI)
  2. Sally Prentice, b. c. 1751-1776. She is probably the Sally Prentice shown in the IGI as the dau. of Joseph Prentice, b. c. 1769, "of Chesterfield, Cheshire Co., NH", and d. 1 Jul 1792. That Sally m. Daniel Farr on 26 Sep 1790, Chesterfield, NH. He was b. 5 Apr 1768 in Chesterfield. The proximity of the marriage date to her death date suggests she might have died in childbirth. They did have a child:
    1. Amaziah Farr, b. 1 Jun 1791 in Chesterfield, Cheshire Co., NH.
  3. John Prentice, b. 30 Nov 1769, Hinsdale Twp, Cheshire Co., NH (per IGI)
  4. Elijah Prentice, b. c. 1751-1795.
