Kerry Prentice's email of 21 Feb 2003 has provided us with information on the following family:
1. William Prentice was b. c. 1810-20. In 1839 he was a Hatter who lived at 2 Bread St., St. Andrews, Holborn, Middlesex, when he married.
He m. Harriet Harvest on 16 Aug 1839, St. Andrews, Holborn, Middlesex. He was then a Hatter. Harriet was bap. 9 Jun 1822, Haberdashers Hall, Independent, London.
Although only conjecture at this point, William Prentice may be the William Prentis who is shown in the IGI as chr. 12 Oct 1815 at Lying In Hospital, Endell Street, Holborn, London, son of James Prentis and Mary.
