2. Frederick Prentice, b. c. 1872, Nth Walsham, Norfolk. He is almost certainly the Frederick Prentice who was b. 17 Sep 1871 in England and who appears in the 1900 Boston, Suffolk Co., MA census with his wife, Elizabeth, b. 21 Apr 1875, Ireland, and children:

1. Pearl E. Prentice, b. 22 May 1898, MA.
2. Franklin J. Prentice, b. 24 Oct 1899, MA.

There is a chance that John Frederick's Prentice's parents are John Smith Prentice and Lydia Wiseman who are shown in the IGI as m. 15 Jul 1838, Saint Peter Parmentergate, Norwich, Norfolk. That was the just the year before John Frederick Prentice was born.
