2. Alfred Richard Prentice, b. 27 May 1967,Cobleskill, NY and d. 4 Feb 2003 in Orlando, FL. His obituary reads as follows (per Ancestry.com, Obituaries):

    ORLANDO, Fla. — Alfred Richard Prentice, 35, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of East Worcester, N.Y., died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, after a courageous battle with Lymphoma, at his home. He was born on May 27, 1967, in Cobleskill, N.Y., the son of Charles and Betty (Hagadorn) Prentice Sr.

    He was a 1985 graduate of Worcester Central School and then he attended SUNY Cobleskill and SUNY Brockport, majoring in business. Shortly after in 1993, he moved with a group of friends to Orlando. While in Florida, he worked at Angel's and Denny's as a server. His hobbies included his love and care of his many beautiful flower gardens, his collection of bird houses and his art of detailing old furniture.

    He is survived by his parents, Charles and Betty Prentice Sr., of East Worcester; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Trace Prentice Jr., of Riverside, Calif., and their daughters, Bronwyn and Payton; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Vicky and David May of Charlotte, N.C., Laurie and Terry Smith of Binghamton, N.Y., and Tammy and Kenneth Keever of East Worcester, and their sons, Nicholas, Alexander and Zackary; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind many, many close, wonderful friends in the local area, as well as in Orlando; including his lifelong childhood best friend, Cheryl Marsh, and her son, Joey.

    After cremation, there will be a memorial service held in Florida. A memorial service will be held locally at a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in the spring at the East Worcester Cemetery.
