Item name: 1860 Prentiss Bible
Summary: Holy Bible, Old and New Testaments, printed in Philadelphia in 1860. Owned by Andrew Morgan Prentiss, son of Henry James and Sarah Prentiss.
Description: Includes many pages of hand-written records. It looks like it was given to Henrietta Driggs by her grandmother (Reed). Henrietta Driggs was married to Andrew Morgan Prentiss (Binney #280), son of Henry James (#203) and Sarah Prentiss. Henry was the son of Henry (#103) and Mary Prentiss. There are records that go back to Henry and Mary (aparently pages from other bibles). Henry was the son of Joshua (#52) and Grace. Joshua was the son of Joshua (#21), mentioned above. Joshua was the son of Henry (#9), who was the son of Solomon (#3), who was the son of Henry (#1).
