    1.   ROBERT MCGUFFIN, b. 10 Sept. 1747; m. on 28 Oct. 1772, Elizabeth King. She b. 1 Nov, 1745; d. 7 Sept. 1836. He was a resident of Delaware during the Revolution, and served as a soldier. Record established for DAR: listed in muster roll of Capt. Samuel Smith's Company & Delaware Regiment of Continental Troops commanded by John Haslet. After Revolution, he went to Rockingham Co., VA. In 1795 he moved to Bath Co., VA.

    2.   JAMES MCGUFFIN, son of Robert and Elizabeth; m. 19 April 1803, at Augusta Co., Virginia, Elizabeth Erwin. She b. 12 Aug. 1779 in VA; d. 16 May 1860 in Warm Springs, VA. James d. at W.M.Campbell's (his son-in-law) in Highland Co., VA, and buried at Warm Springs, Bath Co., VA.
