This page uses the AltaVista 'Advanced Search' service, which provides an excellent Boolean search engine. The results of this search are based on the pages that have been cataloged by the AltaVista 'web-bot' and may not always be current (possibly a couple of months old). Enter words to locate in the 'Find' box, and any words to exclude from the search in the 'Exclude' box, then choose the Search button. All pages listed will contain all of the words listed in the 'Find' box, and none of the words listed as 'Exclude'.

• To search for a phrase (a specific group of words), use the underscore character to join the words. For example, to search for the phrase "descendants of henry", you should enter descendants_of_henry in the 'Find' box.
• To search for words near each other (within 10 words), use a tilde (~) to separate the words (no spaces). For example, to locate all pages that have the word 'henry' near the word 'joane' enter henry~joane in the 'Find box.
