WILLIAM PRENTICE (b.1887 in Northumberland County; d.1966) and his wife LILLIAN KNIGHT PRENTICE (b.1885 in England; d.1975), also two Prentice infants, siblings of William.

• RICHARD PRENTICE (b. and d. Sept. 1947), grandson of William and Lillian (also grandson of Rose Prentice Bates and Ronald Bates, below).

JAMES HENRY PRENTICE (or Henry James according to Norfolk census), (b. November 27, 1868 in Norfolk, England; died February 29, 1928). His wife, ROSE (ROSINA) NICHOLS PRENTICE (b. in Wiltshire, England, February 2, 1873; d. November 11, 1945).
Also the following eight of their 10 children, all born in Northumberland County:

• GEORGE PRENTICE (b.1894; d.1974) and his wife MARGARET BLACKWELL PRENTICE (b. in England c. 1890; d.1977); their sons WILLIAM H. PRENTICE (b.1918; d.1962), his wife "MOLLY" MAUDE BUDREY PRENTICE (b.1912 in England; d.1984), and EDWARD PRENTICE (b. c. 1922; d.1997).

• FRANCES ELIZABETH PRENTICE, (b.1895; d.1984), unmarried.

• ELLEN PRENTICE DIAMOND, (b. January 26, 1898; d.1986), and her husband Ernest Russell Diamond, (b.1877; d.1949). Their children, Margaret Elizabeth (b.1926; d.1978), her husband Lawrence Jackson (b.1927; d.2001); and John Henry Diamond (b.1928; d.2000).

• PERCY PRENTICE, (b.1899; d.1971), his wife FLORENCE CAMERON PRENTICE, (b. 1890 in Belfast, N. Ireland; d.1977).

• ROSE (ROSINA) PRENTICE BATES, (b. July 16, 1902; d. December 28, 1992), her husband Ronald Bates, (b. February 20, 1902 in Derbyshire, England; d. November 6, 1987).
  • Their daughter May Elizabeth Bates (b.1935; d.1941 [1934 date on gravestone is wrong]).
  • Their son George Arthur Bates (b.1930; d.1972).
  • A grandson, Harry James Bates, (b.1966; d.February 1967)
