1. William L. Prentiss Sr. was b. 8 Biv 1941 and d. 28 Aug 2001, Washington, DC. He had earlier lived in Richmond, VA, before at some date before 1996, moving to Washington DC. His obituary reads as follows:

    William L. Prentiss, Sr. of Washington, D.c., formerly of Richmond, departed this life Tuesday, August 28, 2001.

    Surviving are two sons, Norman Washington and William Prentiss, Jr.; two daughters, Rosalind Watson and Janice Prentiss; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, James Price; two sisters, Francis Holiday and Lucille Spriggs; devoted friends, Rosa Prentiss and Cheryl Johnson; a host of other relatives and friends.

    Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Pk. Blvd., where funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon, Reverend Earl Robinson of

ficiating. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Guestbook at www.legacy.com.
