1. Thomas Prentice may have been b. c. 1735-1750 since had 2 sons b. before 1774. He appears in the 1790 census of Middletown, Ulster, NY with his wife and:
- 2 sons b. before 1774,
- 2 sons b. after 1774 and before 1790, and
- 4 daughters, birth date ranges not given.
We think he might be a son of Jonas Prentice and his wife, Lucy Denison who appear in Binney96, pg. 171. They have a son, Thomas, #8v, who was b. 7 Apr 1743.
He might also be the Thomas Prentice who appears in the 1800 census in Oneida County with 2 daughters and 2 sons, with both sons born in the 1774-84 time frame.
