1. Unknown Prentiss probably b. c. 1905 and 1916.

He m. Laverne Frey, b. c. 1938 and probably in Baltimore, MD, where she appears with her family in the 1940 census. She d. 15 Oct 2016, Dundalk, MD. She was the dau. of Huston Russel Frey and his wife, Lilian. Her obituary reads as follows:

    Dundalk Eagle (MD) - Thursday, October 20, 2016: Laverne Prentiss.

    Dundalk resident Laverne Prentiss (nee Frey) passed away of natural causes on October 15, 2016, at the age of 78. Born in Maryland, she previously lived in O'Donnell Heights. A graduate of Patterson Park High, she served in the U.S. Army.

    She is survived by her family: Joe Colandro, Steve Colandro, Barb Colandro, Julie Colandro, son Lewis Protonentis, daughter Georgia Prentiss and six grandchildren.

    Following services at Conne l l y Funeral Home of Dunda lk, she was interred at Baltimore National Cemetery. She was loved and will be missed.

The "Colandro" and "Protonentis" surnames of her sons indicate that she had other marriages either before or after marrying Mr. Prentiss. Daughter of Laverne and Mr. Prentiss:

  1. Georgia Prentiss, daughter.
