    STEPHEN PRENTISS: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice, Peoria Journal Star, The (IL) - Tuesday, March 12, 1996.

    PEORIA -- Stephen D. Prentiss, 11, of 3717 St. Michael Ave. died at 3:41 a.m. Monday, March 11, 1996, at Saint Francis Medical Center. He was born Feb. 24, 1985, in Fort Campbell, Ky., to Todd and Maria McEnroe Prentiss. He was a fourth-grade student at Holy Family Catholic School. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and its soccer team. He was a member of the Peoria Central Football League and Little League Baseball.

    Surviving are his parents of Peoria; three brothers, Sean, Schuyler and John, all at home; three sisters, Stephanie Prentiss, Sonja Prentiss and Sarah Prentiss, all at home; and his grandparents, Stephen and Sondra McEnroe of Peoria, and James E. and Charlene Prentiss of Garden Grove, Calif.

    Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at his church. Franciscan friars will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wright & Salmon Mortuary, with recitation of the rosary at 7:45 p.m. Visitation also will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in West Peoria. Memorials may be made to the Stephen D. Prentiss Memorial Fund in care of First of America Bank.
