While reading John Sanford's "Heat Lightning", I found on pg. 259 the following:

    ". . . here they are, at the end of millions of years of evolution, ancestors lived through the ice ages, hunted bison and mammoths, and here it all ends..."

It struck me that such a quote also applies to you, to me, and to all our Prentice kin.

Most of us cannot specifically trace our roots more than a few generations back, but we all do go back through those same millions of years. So, to paraphrase the above quotation:

    Here each of us are, at the end of millions of years, ancestors lived through the ice ages, hunted bison and mammoths, and that journey will end for each of us when we pass away.
