1. John Prentice, b. 17 Oct 1920, Whitney, TX, and d. 23 May 1999, Westport, CT, at the age of 78, and bur. St. Johns Co., FL. He was living in Mexico City when his daughter, Catherine was b. in 1961, and probably later in Weston, CT, where Catherine grew up.

He m. 1st Mary Margaret Rankin in Dec 1945. She was b. 19 Jun 1924, Arapahoe, CO, and d. 19 Feb 2008, Concord, CA. Son:

  1. John Franklin Prentice II, b. 16 Jul 1948 per the obituary of his mother. 1984 lived in Stamford, CT. 1993-2000 in Weston, CT, 23 Nov 2004 in Westport, CT per LDS U.S. Public Records . He m. Leslie and in 2005 lived in Alamo, CA.

John m. 2nd Catherine Walker. Children per obit of their daughter Catherine Anna, below.

  1. Thomas Whitney Prentice, b. 25 Oct 1958. 29 Jul 1992 registered to vote living in Branford, CT. He voted in the general elections in Branford in 2006 through 2014. He m. Jan and in 2005 lived in Branford, CT.
  2. Priscilla Prentice. She m. David Campbell and in 2005 lived in Seattle, WA,
  3. Catherine Anna Prentice, b. 17 Apr 1961, Mexico City, and d. 16 Oct 2005, Weston, CT. . . . .. . [2]

2. Catherine Anna Prentice , b. 17 Apr 1961, Mexico City, and d. 16 Oct 2005, Easton, CT. Her obituary reads as follows:

    Connecticut Post (Bridgeport, CT) - Tuesday, October 18, 2005: Catherine Anna Prentice-Deutsch CT United States

    PRENTICE-DEUTSCH Catherine Anna Prentice-Deutsch, age 43, passed away at home with her family in Easton, on Sunday, October 16, 2005. She died of cancer of the liver. She was the daughter of Catherine Walker and the late John Prentice and was the stepdaughter of Mort Walker. Cathy was born on April 17, 1962, in Mexico City, and grew up in Weston. After High school she worked as the manager of her stepfather's cartoon art studio in Stamford until her death.

    Cathy was the loving wife of Louis S. Deutsch a senior IT consultant for Bayer Corporate and Business Services.

    Cathy is survived by her brother, Thomas Whitney Prentice and his wife, Jan Prentice, of Branford, her sister, Priscilla Prentice-Campbell and her husband, David Campbell, of Seattle, Wash., and her [step] brother, John Franklin Prentice II and his wife, Leslie Prentice, of Alamo, Calif. Cathy is also survived by six nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Micia.

    A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, at the Talmadge Hill Community Church, at the corner of Talmadge Hill Road and Hollow Tree Road, in Darien. The Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, of Darien, is handling the funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oprah Winfrey's Angel Network, P.O. Box 96600, Chicago IL 60694.

She m. Louis S. Deutsch. No children are named in Catherine's obituary, above.
