He m. Elizabeth Jeanette born in the 1920s in Bellevue, OH. She lived in Richardson, TX for more than 40 years, and returned to OH and later d. 28 Mar 2005, Norwalk, OH. Her obituary reads as follows:

    Dallas Morning News, The (TX) - Sunday, April 10, 2005: Elizabeth Jeanette Prentice

    Elizabeth Jeanette Prentice, known as "Bettye," of Norwalk, Ohio, formerly of Richardson, died March 28 in Norwalk.

    Ms. Prentice was born in Bellevue, Ohio, in the 1920s. She returned to Ohio from Texas after living for more than four decades in Richardson. She was president of the Democratic Women of Dallas County during its 50th anniversary year in 1969-70 and was a civic volunteer in Dallas for more than 40 years.

    She is survived by her son, Dr. Thomas N. Prentice of Austin; daughter, Carolyn Ruth Burden; sister, Barbara Hire; and four grandchildren.

    A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. April 30 at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, 9800 Preston Road in Dallas. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran World Relief, P.O. Box 17061, Baltimore, Md. 21298-9832 or a charity or human justice organization.
