1. Robert Prentice was like b. c. 1945-1950, perhaps in Maryland and perhaps in, or near, Balltimore, MD where he later lived with his wife and family. Ref: Ancestry.com .

EMMA JANIE ELIZABETH ELEM PRENTICE, was born on November 30, 1950 to Robert and Maddie Cherry Elem at Lutheran Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She was the third of their five children. During her young years, she went to Baltimore City Public Schools she later attended Bay College where she took courses in the area of Psychology.
Emmas love for children allowed her the opportunity to work in the Baltimore City Public School classroom modification program as a substitute teacher. She married, Robert Prentice Jr., and from this marriage, there came two children, Annette and Robert Prentice, the third. She then met Preston Smith, and loved her baby child Sabrina Potter
She loved her children and taught them to work hard and get a good education and to be upstanding and respectable loving people to friends and family. She rededicated her life to the Lord over 20 years ago. Her kind heart, her insightful ways and non- judgmental spirit will be missed by all. Emma passed away in the eve on December 21, 2013.
She leaves to cherish her memories her three children, Annette Johnson, Robert Prentice, the third, and Sabrina Potter. Her son in-law- Darryle Johnson, and Sean Potter, her three grandsons, Andre Eaton, Najee Stewart, and Sean Potter Jr., Her four siblings, Robert (also known as Bobby), Edward, Shirley and Melvin Elem. Some of us are blessed with the opportunity to encounter a friend for life. Una King and Emma Prentice were literally friends for life .
