1. Samuel Prentice may have been born c. 1920-1930, perhaps in MI where his son, Patrick, was born in 1955.
He m. Beverly DeRosia. Children per the obituary of their son, Patrick:
- Patrick Steven Prentice, b. 5 May 1955, Trenton, MI, and d. 17 Apr 1913, Lansing, MI. His
obituary reads as follows:
- Patrick Steven Prentice,Age 57, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Pat was born in Trenton, MI, the son of Samuel and Beverly (DeRosia) Prentice.
He retired from the Lansing Housing Commission after 16 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and loved playing his harmonica in various local bands.
Surviving are his wife, Andrea; son, Patrick, Jr. (Tashina) and their son, Patrick, III; sisters, Donna Marie Flanders and Lora Lee Stitman.
A Celebration of Pat's life will be held Wednesday, 11:00 am, at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel with Stephen Ezop officiating. The family invites friends beginning at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center, 1500 E. Medical Center Dr., CCGC 6- 303, Ann Arbor, MI 48109 in memory of Pat.
