1. Michael Prentis was b. c. 1881 in Lithuania. He appear in the 1940 census living at 54 Hoffman Rd., Irondequoit, Monroe Co., New York, with his wife and family.
He m. Frances, b. c. 1887, Poland. Children per 1940 census:
- Anthony Prentis, b. c. 1910, NY. 1940 at home in Irondequoit, Monroe Co., NY.
- George Prentis, b. c. 1917, NY. 1940 at home in Irondequoit, Monroe Co., NY.
- Bernard Prentis, b. c. 1921, NY. 1940 at home in Irondequoit, Monroe Co., NY.
- Raymond Prentis, b. c. 1923, NY. 1940 at home in Irondequoit, Monroe Co., NY.
It seems likely that there were more children born before 1910, but the family does not appear in the 1910, 1920 or 1930 census. Neither do those children appear in the SSDI.
