1. Frederick Prentice was b. Sep 1871 in England, as were both of his parents, and emigrated to American in 1897 per the 1900 Census where he appears in Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, with his wife and family.

He m. Elizabeth in 1897 per the 1940 census. She was b. c. 1875 in Ireland, as were her parents. Children:

  1. Pearl E Prentice, b. May 1898, Boston. 1900 at home.
  2. Franklin J. Prentice, b. Oct 1899, Boston. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [2]

2. Franklin J. Prentice, b. Oct 1899, Boston. He appears in the 1940 census at 73 Pomona Place in Buffalo, Erie Co., NY, with his wife and family. The 1940 census shows that the highest grade completed was the 8th grade in Elementary School. His occuation was then a Foreman in the "Whosale Live Stock" Industry.

He m. Dorothy, b. c. 1898, MA. Children per the 1940 census:

  1. Franklin Prentice, b. c. 1929, NY. 1940 at home in Buffalo, NY.
  2. Norma J. Prentice, b. c. 1931, NY. 1940 at home in Buffalo, NY.
