1. Richard Prentiss was likely b. c. 1935-1939, perhaps in Michigan.

He m. Joanne K. Wojcik, b. c. 1939 and d. 11 May 2012. Her obituary published in The Macomb [MI] Daily on May 13, 2012 reads as follows:

Joanne K. (Wojcik) Prentiss

Joanne K. Prentiss (nee Wojcik), age 73, passed away May 11, 2012. Mrs. Prentiss had a contagious zest for life; she had a strong faith and demonstrated it daily by her unconditional love for her family and friends.

Beloved wife of Richard for 52 cherished years. Loving mother of Rich (Kelly), Mark (Deborah), Donna Prentiss-Bonner, Paula (Mark) Baker, and Linda Prentiss. Proud and loving grandmother of Nicholas, Kenny, Ryan, Jessica, Jolene, Justin (Kate), Kyle, and Willie. Dear sister of Patricia Wojcik and the late John and Gerald (Shirley) Wojcik.

Visitation Monday 3-9 p.m. at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Tuesday 9 a.m. until time of 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mark Catholic Church, 4401 Bart (east of Ryan, south of 10 Mile Road).
