1. Edward Prentiss was b. c. 1865 in NY. He first appears in the 1940 census in Islip, Suffolk Co., New York.
He m. Ida. She was b. c. 1872 in NJ. Since they were 75 and 68 respectively in 1940, any children they may have had would have left home.
