1. Charles Prentiss was b c. 1824 in NY. He appears in the 1860 and 1870 census in Hudson, Columbia Co., New York, with his wife and family.

He m. Marietta White. She was b. c. 1827, dau. of Joseph and Beth White. In the 1850 census, Charles Prentiss apparently was a boarder in their home. Children per census records:

  2. Jennie A. Prentiss, b. Oct 1888, NY. 1900 at home in Hudson, NY. 1920 at home in Troy, NY. Called Jessie Alice in the 1940 census; she m. Robert J. Jackson, b. c. 1894, NY, and both are living in the household of her mother. Daughter:
