1. Robert L. Prentice may have been b. c. 1940-1945. His place of birth is not yet known, but at the time of his wife's death in 2007 they were living in Wickenburg, Maricopa Co., AZ, which lies about 60 miles northwest of Phoenix in the Northern reaches of the great southwests Sonoran Desert.
He m. Betty Bordelon, b. c. 1945, probably New Orleans, LA, and d. 15 Dec 2007, probably Wickenburg, Maricopa Co., AZ. Her obituary reads as follows:
- Betty Bordelon Prentice, age 62, went home to be with herSavior on December 15, 2007. She was a native of New Orleans, but lived in Wickenburg, AZ with her husband, Robert L. Prentice. She was preceded in death by
her parents, Louise R. Bordelon and Cilton 'Jack' Bordelon. In addition to her husband of 37 years, she is survived by her loving daughter, Michele M. Murdock and her husband Robert of Foley, AL, her loving son, Chad R. Prentice and
his wife Karmin of Lake Stevens, WA; sisters, Maxine B. Ponseti of New Roads, LA and Earline B. Picolo and her
husband Joseph of River Ridge, LA; brother, Mack J. Bordelon and his wife Toni of Poplarville, MS; one precious granddaughter, Alicia R. Prentice of Lake Stevens, WA.
She also leaves behind many loving Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews, 2 Great Great Nieces, 2 Step-Daughters, several step-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Metairie at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2008. Times Picayune 1/3/2008.
