Update of 5 Sep 2011: Percy Richard Prentice is #1(iii)(b)(7) in our Spring 2011 article entitled William Prentice of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England . That article now replaces this article.
1. Percy Richard Prentice, b. c. 1922 at an unknown location and d. 31 Mar 2009 in York, Yorkshire, England. His obituary in the York News of 8 Apr 2009 reads as follows:
- PERCY RICHARD "DICK" PRENTICE died suddenly on March 31st 2009, aged 87 years. Loving husband of May, dearly loved father of Susan, grandfather of Steven and Paul and great-grandfather to Lily
Funeral Service to be held at York Crematorium on Tuesday, April 16th at 11am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the British Lung Foundation. A plate will be provided at the service. Enquiries to J G Fielder & Son, 25 George Street, Pocklington, tel 01759 303129.
