1. John H. Prentice was b. c. 1862 in NY, as were his parents, and d. 1913. Bur. in the Liberal Cemetery, Liberal, Seward Co., KS. He appears in the 1910 census in Ivanhoe, Finney Co., KS, with his wife and family.

He m. Minnie, b. c. 1887, IN. She may be the Minnie Prentice Kindschi, 1889-1922, bur. in the Liberal Cemetery, Liberal, Seward Co., KS. Minnie's father was b. in KY and mother in IN. Minnie and John had 1 or more children, including:

After John d. in 1913, Minnie m. 2nd, before 1920, E. G. Kendscki. He was b. c. 1889, NE.i.

She is probably the Thelma Meta Prentice who appears in the SSDI as b. 16 Apr 1908, obtained her SS# in KS, and d. Sep 1995 in Grand Island, Hall Co., NE. She is bur. with her husband in the Hall County Burkett Soldiers and Sailors Cemetery.

She m. Glenn Garrett Rippen shown in the SSDI as b. 14 May 1910, obtained his SS# in NE, and d. 16 May 1989, also in Grand Island, Hall Co., NE. He is bur. with his wife in the Hall County Burkett Soldiers and Sailors Cemetery. He served in the Army in WW II. An Ancestor Chart for him can be found at Ancestry.com .
